Each candidate need to attempt each section in the time given and should score the minimum cut-off which is decided by the council so as to pass and go for the next round which is the IBPS PO mains exam.

Every candidate needs to pass in each subject with the score which is being allotted by the council to clarify for the interview round.
The cut off the exams are calculated on how they have performed in each subject and whether it matches with the cut off decided by the council or not. The corrected scores will generally be normalized using equi-percentile method or even scored up to two decimal points.
Negative marking is also done in the paper. For every question which is wrong a total of 0.25 marks will be deducted form the marks allotted to the question. So you need to be careful in this part and practice more sample papers and take online mock tests.
- The IBPS PO Interview: when a candidate passes the above two rounds under the given norm a list is prepared of the selected students and they are allowed to attend the interview.
